Electric bikes are steadily rising in popularity, and as a result, more women are joining the e-bike community. If you’re in the market for the best electric bike, you’re in the right place.
In general, women’s electric bikes are tailored to a woman’s proportions. On average, women are shorter than men and thus require shorter stack heights and reach lengths. When shopping for the right electric bike for you, this is what you’re after. You want a bike that fits your body’s proportions. Otherwise, you may experience pain or pressure in uncomfortable places that eventually result in injury.
The best electric bikes for women
Juiced Bikes: Scorpion or HyperScorpion
There are a few top name brand in electric bikes. Juiced Bikes is one of the most well regarded ebike companies which is why we recommend them on just about every one of our lists. The Scorpion is a great bike for women who are looking for a sleek looking, state-of-the-art electric bike.
Women who are looking for a little more juice may want to consider the HyperScorpion. The standard Scorpion offers a motor that reaches max speeds of 28 mph and has a better life of 45 miles, while the HyperScorpion reaches max speeds of 30+ And has a batter live of 70+ miles. So if you are looking to go on longer rides, you may want to consider the Hyper version of this e-bike. This model electric bike is recommended for more serious riders as it is a bit pricey ($1,799 – $2,999).
Juiced Bikes: Scrambler Electric Adventure Bike
As mentioned above, Juiced is one of the most reliable brands in electric bikes. We decided to include the Scrambler on our list because it offers a uniquely long seat. A quick peak at their Instagram page and you’ll quickly see why the elongated seat is so popular. It’s because you can lug along a second passenger, which is great for women that want to bring along a long a little one.
A new HyperScramber was recently released with a very high capacity battery that lasts for than 100 miles which is the longest lasting battery on this list. The Scrambler is similar priced to Juiced’s Scorpion line ($1,799 – $2,499).
ANCHEER Electric Bike – Female
Looking for something a little bit more traditional? Some women don’t want the motorbike e-bike crossover. They like the look of a classic mountain bike with the added motor and battery. The Ancheer is exactly that. You’ll get the extra boost you need when you’re riding trails and hills, but you won’t feel like you’re on a mini motorcycle.
This is also a great budget bike if you’re just looking to try out an e-bike before you dive into the deep end ($750 – $800). While many big name brand electric bikes are often on backorder ANCHEER bikes are usually in stock and ship quickly. They are also a popular brand on Amazon so you won’t have to buy directly from a startup company, which most ebike brands are.
NAKTO Cargo Electric Bicycle
This is another affordable option (around $600) on the list of best electric bikes for women. The NAKTO has a step-thru design, a built-in cargo rack, and even includes a beautiful woven basket. A padded seat can be bought separately for the cargo rack which allows another rider or child to hop on the back as well. As an added bonus, the bike comes equipped with an extra wide and heavily padded seat to make for a more comfortable ride.
The bike can be driven in regular pedal mode (no pedal assist), pedal assist (each time you pedal the motor gives you a little more power), and throttle mode (no pedaling necessary). The only real downside to this ebike is the mileage you’ll get out of each charge. You’ll only get about 25-30 miles before needing to recharge. This is a great option for short 45-60 minute rides, but if you’re looking to go for longer rides you may want to look at one of the other options on this list.

ZuGo Rhino Step-Thru
In my honest opinion the ZuGo Rhino Step-Thru is the coolest looking e-bike on the list. The iridescent purple paint job is just gorgeous when the list reflects off of it. It has a very cool galaxy vibe and has turned heads almost every time I’ve taken it for a spin. But it doesn’t just look good, it is functional and made of premium components. The sleek step-thru design paired with the extra long, wide, and thick seat makes it the most comfortable ride on this list. I personally also prefer high handlebars, I find them more comfortable during longer rides. With pedal assist activated the battery lasts for about 90 miles before needing to be charged.
So what’s the catch? We’ll it’s a little pricey. At approximately $2,000 the ZuGo Rhino is definitely a premium product, but if you decide to take the dive, you will not be disappointed.
So, which is the best e-bike for me?
It ultimately depends on what you’re looking for. When putting this list together, I tried to find the best bike for every style of rider. Some of these e-bikes focus on speed, and others are designed for more leisurely rides. Are you looking for an e-bike purely for recreation? Are you seeking to shorten your morning commute?
My advice is to make your decision based on the type of rider you are and the features that will improve your riding most. E-bikes can get expensive, but they can be worth investing in if you’ll get the use out of them. If you’re just looking to try out a bike, start small with your investment. If you already know what you like, then go all in because you know you’ll ride it more as a result.
Now that you’ve found the perfect bike. You’ll want to make sure you find a specialty helmet that is safety rated for electric bike. Check out our blog for plenty of options for men and women!
